Music Supervision for US and International Film, TV, Web & Advertising
JenMalone started her career in the music industry as a publicist at Formula PR, working for Nine Inch Nails, Portishead, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Marilyn Manson, Prodigy and many more. While living in Boston she formed the boutique publicity agency, Black & White and represented several artists and labels including The Hellacopters, The Hives, Backyard Babies, The Wildhearts, Gearhead Records and Hydrahead Records to name a few.
After a successful run in PR, Jen decided to switch careers and for the past six years has been music supervising numerous TV shows including ATLANTA and Baskets on FX, Step Up starring Ne-Yo for YouTube Red, the MTV hit series Are You The One? and Season 2 of Netflix’s Lady Dynamite. She has also worked in house at Discovery Communications overseeing music for TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Destination America and the Discovery channel.
On the film side, Jen music supervised Paul Bettany’s directorial debut Shelter, starring Jennifer Connelly, Muted, starring Chandra Wilson, the Swedish sci-fi thriller Bieffekterna (English Title: Origin) as well as the YouTube sensation Video Game High School. She has also been a music coordinator for Homeland, How I Met Your Mother, Awkward, The Inbetweeners, Bones, Criminal Minds, Elementary, The VICE Guide to Everything on MTV and many more.
JenMalone has been profiled in the NY Times, Washington Post, Fader and Decider for her work as a music supervisor and is based in West Hollywood.
